ADDA is a Danish NGO founded in March 1994 in order to meet the need for rural development through agricultural education in Cambodia and Vietnam. Since 2009 ADDA has also worked in Tanzania.
ADDA is a member-based organisation, consisting of members from a broad section of the Danish population, including teaching and advisory institutions, associations, private agro-industrial companies, and individuals with an interest in agricultural development work.
ADDA has been working in Vietnam since March 1999, having implemented seven projects and currently working on three in close collaboration with local partners. ADDA aims to assist with improving the level of self-sufficiency for the poorest parts of the rural population. In Vietnam the main focus is on ethnic minorities in the Northern Provinces. At present, ADDA Vietnam has its office in Hanoi with five employees.
ADDA wishes to achieve this major objective by establishing long lasting contacts and co-operation with local NGO’s. The professional capacity of ADDA covers experience within agricultural consultancy, education, research, practical farming, administration and project management.
